Sebastian Faulks‘ new book published September 2026 is a novel about faith in all its forms. A vivid portrait of an embattled post-war Britain, it asks the question how, after great suffering, do we retain our humanity, learn to love again and believe in the promise of a better life?
Sebastian is a novelist, journalist and broadcaster. He worked first as a features writer with the Telegraph then as literary editor of the Independent and, later, as the deputy editor of the Independent on Sunday. He was written around 23 books, including novels, non-fiction, and short story collections. His best known historic novel Bird Song sold over 2.5 million copies world-wide.
Tickets cost £18 for Friends of Orford Museum and £24 for non-Friends.
